Bit Stew Systems has announced significant growth and expansion into the Australian market. The company has created a Melbourne-based Center of Excellence that focuses on innovation in human-to-machine interaction.

This capability and expertise is essential as more industrial organizations strive to interconnect sensors and devices to automate and streamline their business operations.

The utility industry has been a pioneer in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT). Utilities have deployed and managed millions of connected smart meters and other grid modernization sensors and devices, and as a result need to analyze and action the billions of data events generated daily.

"The Australian utility market is progressive with a number of utilities looking at innovative business models to modernize the grid and capitalize on the Industrial Internet," says Kevin Collins, CEO at Bit Stew.

"Expanding our footprint and ramping up our investment in Australia is an important step in the progression of our growth strategy and will drive innovation in product development and global customer operations."

"Our Centre of Excellence in human-to-machine interaction and next-generation usability design is a key differentiator for Bit Stew. This advancement builds on our company's successful deployment of Grid Director in Australia," adds Kevin.

"With the Melbourne Centre of Excellence and a highly-capable team in place, Bit Stew will continue recruiting new talent to enhance local expertise in the area."
