Invertix to support Army Intelligence and Security Command
Mclean, Va. (UPI) Sep 23, 2014 - The U.S. Army has selected Invertix Corporation to provide it with global intelligence support services.

Invertix, a subsidiary of Altamira Technologies Corporation, said it is one of a number of large businesses on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite quantity contract, which is for the Army Intelligence and Security Command.

The contract's estimated period of performance is through September of 2019. Its ceiling value for all recipients is more than $5 billion.

"We are thrilled to have been selected as a winner on INSCOM GI," said Jonathan Moneymaker, Chief Strategy Officer for Altamira, "Altamira and our team have enjoyed a long partnership with INSCOM and this award will both broaden and deepen that relationship and allow for the continued delivery of exceptional capability supporting our warfighters."

The contract vehicle is for the Army to obtain flexible, comprehensive, cost-effective services to support the need for fully integrated intelligence, security, information operations and related support.

Additional details on services to be provided were not disclosed.

Invertix/Altamira Technologies Corporation describes itself as an information management and analytics-based company serving the U.S. national security community.

A cyber-security center has been opened by Boeing in Singapore to provide advanced capabilities and services to the Asia-Pacific region.

The Cyber Analytics Center is the first opened by Boeing outside the United States.

"We are taking our Singapore partnership to a new level with this Cyber Analytics Center aimed at boosting cyber-security in the city-state and beyond," said Skip Boyce, president of Boeing Southeast Asia. "Boeing already has a strong business presence here, comprising commercial airplane and defense procurement, aircraft maintenance and research and technology work."

Added Per Beith, director of Boeing's Information Security Solutions: "We've established this center to address current and evolving cyber-security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region.

"The risks to critical infrastructure and governments worldwide continue to grow, and this center demonstrates Boeing's -- and Singapore's -- commitment to addressing the cyber threat."

Boeing said the center will train and equip cyber-security professionals in the region and will serve as a center of excellence, providing a collaborative environment for security professionals to work with industry partners, customers and academia.
