Italian astronaut shows how to use restroom on ISS online

An Italian European Space Agency astronaut shows millions how to use the toilet on International Space Station (ISS) through a video uploaded lately in a popular social website.

As astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti is seen conducting a tour of a bathroom facility, she explains a two-step process that involves a small receptacle, a rubber suction hose and a urine recycling unit when nature calls aboard ISS.

Cristoforetti said in the video that when they have to pee they go to the ISS toilet cabin and pee into the rubber hose that uses suction to collect urine, which is incredibly useful considering everything floats in weightless conditions.

When it comes to taking a space dump, Cristoforetti said it works in a similar manner. There's conjointly a suctioning hose, however the feces is held on within a waste tank that it modifies once each ten days depending on the size of the crew.

Up till now, the video has been viewed more than million times on Youtube, a very popular video sharing website and been shared on many other social websites.
