Japan to send hundreds of peace-keepers to Sudan: report

Japan plans to send hundreds of military personnel to Sudan next year to join UN peace-keepers overseeing an agreement that ended a 21-year north-south civil war, a report said Monday.     Two bombs within minutes of each other exploded at a restaurant early Wednesday in Iraq's shrine city of Karbala, wounding at least 26 people, police and medical officials said.
