Altamira Technologies Corporation has acquired Prime Solutions LLC, a cyber operations company supporting the U.S. intelligence community.

Altamira, itself a provider of technology solutions to the U.S. intelligence and defense communities, did not disclose the terms of the transaction in its announcement.

"We are very excited to welcome the Prime Solutions team into Altamira," said Altamira President and CEO Ted Davies. "We look forward to bringing their significant cyber operations capabilities across the breadth of our portfolio of customers and to broadening and deepening our relationship with NSA [National Security Agency] through them."

Altamira said that among the benefits that results from the acquisition are easier access to offerings across multiple customer agencies and proven infrastructure for investing in and bringing research and development to market.

Altamira is headquartered in Virginia; Prime Solutions is a Maryland-based company.
