A contract with a base value of $42 million has been given to CACI International Inc. to support the U.S. Navy's Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

The multiple award is specifically for lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition and technical support for Naval Electronic Surveillance Systems for a three-year period, with two one-year options. Included will be support for anti-terrorism/force protection electronic surveillance systems to the Department of Defense and other government agencies.

The potential total value of the contract for all three award winners, who will compete for task orders, is $71 million if all options are exercised.

"This contract supporting C4ISR systems for the U.S. Navy leverages CACI's in-depth expertise in lifecycle sustainment, integration, acquisition, and technical support," said John Mengucci, CACI's chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "Our work will aid federal agencies in detecting, identifying, and thwarting potential global and domestic threats to our nation's security."

C4ISR is the military acronym for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.

"CACI's new work with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific supports one of our government's highest priorities -- to protect our nation's people, facilities, and equipment," said CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury. "This award demonstrates the value of our intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions to a new customer and further expands our presence in our high-volume C4ISR market area."
