The U.S. Army Europe has given Cubic Global Defense a $33.7 million contract to support their Joint Multinational Simulation Center in Germany.

Under the five-year contract, Cubic will be tasked with assisting the JMSC with training events for the Army, NATO, and partner nations in an effort to boost combat readiness for participating forces and develop engagement strategies.

Duties will include executing mission rehearsal exercises, integrating mission command systems, and provide infrastructure and configuration management to support JMSC missions.

The JMSC is the Army's largest training command overseas. Activities include virtual gaming and constructive training, also referred to as LVC-G.

"Cubic is a key player in the LVC-G training space and has successfully partnered with the JMSC to provide realistic and customizable mission support services to not only the U.S., but also to partner nations," Cubic Global Defense president Bill Toti said. "Cubic looks forward to maintaining the important role of delivering comprehensive training to better prepare Soldiers for the next mission."

In addition to NATO, the JMSC's engagement strategies focus on EUCOM, AFRICOM, CENTCOM and SOCOM.
