Hot out of our CubeSat Lab, please let me introduce the most advanced method of getting about in space. Our CubeSat micro-Pulsed Plasma Thruster (also known here at Clyde Space as 'CubeSpark') is the product of years of development here at Clyde Space and with our technology buddies for electric propulsion, Mars Space.
CubeSpark has already been through months of testing and millions of shots (pulses) in a vacuum chamber to prove it produce the goods once in orbit.
This design is the latest revision of the product and several improvements have been made meaning that CubeSpark is now even more controllable, requires less power, delivers more thrust per pulse and is smaller.
With all this new thrust, there are many things your CubeSat mission can now do: constellation development, orbital life extension, orbit maintenance, de-orbit or even do a bit of formation flying.
