LizzieSat signals success for Sidus Space in post-launch phase

Sidus Space, Inc. (NASDAQ: SIDU), a pioneering Space and Data-as-a-Service satellite enterprise, confirmed the successful reception of signals from its LizzieSat satellite subsequent to its deployment into low Earth orbit via SpaceX's Transporter-10 Rideshare mission launched on March 4, 2024, from the Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.

The operation center in Merritt Island, Florida, continues to sustain communication with LizzieSat, a microsatellite roughly equivalent in size to a mini-refrigerator, weighing 275 pounds. Its capability to accommodate diverse missions and clients on a singular platform has been vividly demonstrated post-launch, with Sidus maintaining oversight through FCC approved prime radio frequencies.

Carol Craig, CEO of Sidus, expressed enthusiasm over the successful launch and deployment, stating, "The receipt of signals from LizzieSat during its launch and early operations (LEOP) phase heralds Sidus Space's transition into an epoch of satellite manufacturing and operations.

"This achievement underscores our dedication to advancing space technology and data acquisition, supported by our sophisticated team, state-of-the-art technologies, an integrated manufacturing facility, and a strong spacecraft supply chain. It validates our commitment to providing innovative solutions to both governmental and commercial sectors."

The planned launch of two additional LizzieSat satellites from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station later this year is poised to offer customized intelligence for sectors including defense, agriculture, maritime, and energy, reinforcing Sidus Space's role in the expanding space industry.
