Information technology support is to be provided by Accenture Federal Services to support the U.S. Navy's Naval Supply System Command.

Under the $53.7 million award by the Department of the Navy, the company will aid the command's Business Systems Center in maintaining and improving Navy information systems.

Work will include providing information technology sustainment and operations support for the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning system, and enhancing other existing information technology programs. It will also include performing data analytics to help reduce inventory investment and improve the readiness of Navy forces.

"The Naval Supply Systems Command provides mission-critical IT solutions to fleet customers," said Vince Vlasho, Accenture's managing director for work with the Navy. "We are excited about the opportunity to work with BSC to implement innovative, cost-effective solutions that improve enterprise performance."

The award is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a base performance period of one year. It also includes four one-year options.

The Naval Supply Systems Command's Business Systems Center provides Logistics and financial IT solutions to the Navy, The Department of Defense and others.
