Raytheon Technologies has completed the acquisition of privately-held SEAKR Engineering LLC, a leading supplier of advanced space electronics. Now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies, SEAKR Engineering reports into Raytheon Intelligence and Space, one of four RTX businesses.

"Today's growing space market demands greater innovation, technological expertise and ability to deliver to a higher space standard faster," said Roy Azevedo, president of Raytheon Intelligence and Space. "SEAKR Engineering provides depth and strength across all these areas with a portfolio of proven space electronics and a forward-leaning culture of commitment, and we welcome them to the RI&S team."

Founded in 1981 by the Anderson family, SEAKR Engineering supplies space qualified state-of-the-art electronics for advanced processors, networked systems, reconfigurable radio frequency and electro-optical payloads, and digital channelizers and beamformers. These systems utilize SEAKR's Radiation Hardened system By Design, or RHBD, techniques that have been deployed in over 300 space missions with a 100% on-orbit success rate. SEAKR is based in Centennial, Colorado with more than 540 employees.
