Roskosmos to design satellite for Brazil

The Russian space agency Roskosmos has been in talks to create a communication and remote sensing Earth satellite for Brazil.

According to Roskosmos chief Vladimir Popovkin, Russia has signed a corresponding agreement with Brazil.

Two Roskosmos representatives are already in Brazil working to implement the agreement, Popovkin said.

SES' Astra 2F Satellite Starts Operations

SES report that the ASTRA 2F satellite has successfully completed its in-orbit testing and is now fully operational and in commercial service at the orbital neighborhood of 28.2/28.5 degrees East.
