TeleCommunication Systems, Inc. has received $5 million in incremental funding from the U.S. Army to sustain AN/TSC-198A SNAP and other systems.

TeleCommunication Systems has received the funding to sustain SNAP, Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) and Non-classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) Access Point, and will also maintain Very Small Aperture Terminals.

The latest contract brings total funded contract value to $23.6 million, potentially climbing to $91 million through September 2018 if all options are exercised.

TeleCommunication Systems provides secure deployable communication systems, location-based wireless infrastructure, engineered satellite-based services, and a number of other services.

TeleCommunication Systems also provides operational support and engineering services for civilian emergency services, cybersecurity and defense platforms.
