Two suspected Al-Qaeda members were killed in a drone missile strike on their vehicle in Hadramawt province of eastern Yemen on Tuesday, security sources said. They told AFP that the drone fired the missile at a car on a main road in the desert, "killing two people who have not yet been identified." "Initial reports indicate that two Al-Qaeda terrorists were killed in the raid," one source said. The United States is the only country that has drones in the region and it has stepped up its strikes on Al-Qaeda targets in Yemen. Al-Qaeda has taken advantage of a nearly year-long uprising which led to president Ali Abdullah Saleh stepping down in February to seize large swathes of the south and east of Yemen.
